Objective:
Check that the fuel pre-filter is clean and functioning correctly, ensuring an unrestricted fuel supply to the system.

Procedure:

  1. Visually inspect the condition of the pre-filter for leaks, cracks and contamination.

  2. Drain fuel from the filter and check for water or dirt particles.

  3. Check the fuel flow and compare it with the specified values.

  4. Clean or replace the filter if contamination or excessive resistance is detected.

  5. Refit the filter correctly and check for leaks after installation.

Expected result:

  • The filter is free of water and dirt.

  • Fuel flows without restriction.

  • No leaks are present.
