The problem with the original New Holland tines
Many New Holland grass pickups are fitted at the factory with tines whose steel section is moulded into a rubber block. In practice, this is a very weak construction. The tines have a mediocre finish and, under constant loads and weather exposure, the rubber inevitably begins to crack. The result is broken tines, grass left in the field and an operator who is constantly replacing tines.
